We live in Germany and have eaten in many restaurants in recent years. sad to say, our meal of the allegedly crispy gay (haxe) was the worst we have ever been s... read more We live in Germany and have eaten in many restaurants in recent years. sad to say, our meal of the allegedly crispy gay (haxe) was the worst we have ever been served. the skin was rubbery and the ankle was obviously reheated. it was dried and hard to cut with the steak knife. the only cripple was created by a blase. the staff was heavy. we will never eat here again and warn our friends who visit the area to wander to avoid alpenrose. some of the reviews seem to refer to an alpenrose restaurant in tirol that seems to be good. this review applies to the restaurant in the middle of the forest in Germany.

We had lunch in this restaurant on our last trip to Germany. we entered the restaurant according to the disposable system (which many customers do not follow di... read more We had lunch in this restaurant on our last trip to Germany. we entered the restaurant according to the disposable system (which many customers do not follow disturbed) and were offered a table that meets our needs. the waitress then came to us with the...Menus and asked us what we want to drink. when my man asked about the beer in the offer instead of running through it, she said, now, read the menu and I will come back. my man went for one of the steaks he said it was served hot instead of hot (the buses also) and I went for zanderfilet containing an salat that was served first. the salat was much too much to dress so that the leaves seasoned. the fish was served with petersil potatoes, six huge pieces of boiled potato with petersil over them. difficult to see why someone needs so many kartoffels, and really unstoppable. it became even less exciting after that when it was difficult to get the waitress to put a bill, and when she did wait after a ridiculously long, it was just the total number, not a punctual bill possibly illegal? this place appears for years in guides like the ionly planet and rough guide possibly a reason not to disturb to offer a decent level of service.
