What Ignaz Heß doesn't like about Die Alpenrose:
unfortunately not recommended to understand some reviews. spezi has no carbonic acid, (corresponding, in baern this is so. eat very thoroughly. I don't know in bayern. View all feedback.
We live in Germany and have eaten in many restaurants in recent years. sad to say, our meal of the allegedly crispy gay (haxe) was the worst we have ever been served. the skin was rubbery and the ankle was obviously reheated. it was dried and hard to cut with the steak knife. the only cripple was created by a blase. the staff was heavy. we will never eat here again and warn our friends who visit the area to wander to avoid alpenrose. some of the reviews seem to refer to an alpenrose restaurant in tirol that seems to be good. this review applies to the restaurant in the middle of the forest in Germany.
We had lunch in this restaurant on our last trip to Germany. we entered the restaurant according to the disposable system (which many customers do not follow disturbed) and were offered a table that meets our needs. the waitress then came to us with the...Menus and asked us what we want to drink. when my man asked about the beer in the offer instead of running through it, she said, now, read the menu and I will come back. my man went for one of the steaks he said it was served hot instead of hot (the buses also) and I went for zanderfilet containing an salat that was served first. the salat was much too much to dress so that the leaves seasoned. the fish was served with petersil potatoes, six huge pieces of boiled potato with petersil over them. difficult to see why someone needs so many kartoffels, and really unstoppable. it became even less exciting after that when it was difficult to get the waitress to put a bill, and when she did wait after a ridiculously long, it was just the total number, not a punctual bill possibly illegal? this place appears for years in guides like the ionly planet and rough guide possibly a reason not to disturb to offer a decent level of service.
Can't judge eating because nobody could catch up with our order. even if waiters run everywhere and we took care of them, no one took the order. finally we left.
During our holiday in Austria we had dinner here. this was in the august between we sat outside, a table next to the road. the location was nice, the food was good, but it was all ruined by our waitress. her face showed. attacker when she walked around, but when she came to a table, she laid a smile. she hardly spoke to them and the absolute highlight was when we had to pay. because their service was not available, we decided not to give a tipp. when I placed the last euro for billing on the table, she took the money and said not one word and went away. another couple saw this and told us that they specifically chose a table that was not in the waiter's servier area. they had dinner before and knew how their service was. this was literally the worst service (if you can call it that) I have ever experienced.
Coming back from a ski trip in Italy, I stopped at Die Alpenrose for lunch. Their special with salad, main course, and desert was both excellent in taste and an excellent value. A classic Tyrolean mixture of meats, potatoes, and a fried egg, I really...enjoyed the hearty portion. An excellent kellerbier accompanied my meal. Our waiter was efficient and friendly.
