The chilly, damp weather outside made our meal choices easier. I opted for the Traditional Beef Bourguignon, which was a wonderfully adapted and flavorful take on the classic French dish. The chef marinates generous chunks of beef in rich red wine, ensuring that every piece is infused with deep flavor. The Lamb Shoulder was another highlight, its savory goodness enhanced by the sweet and crispy chips of thinly sliced fried beetroot, perfectly paired with the creamy tang of goat cheese. This dish was rich and its flavors expertly developed, making it one I would gladly order again. No meal is complete without a sweet finale, and ours came in the form of a beautifully crafted Wood-Fired Apple Tarte Tatin accompanied by apple tree honey gelato. Like the rest of our dining experience, it was truly unforgettable. Ben, the chef, has crafted an incredible experience with each delectable bite. The Fire Drum offers exceptional value, making it worth every cent for its flawlessly prepared, hearty, and lovingly created culinary masterpieces. #flavourgasm
This restaurant is amazing! The staff is friendly and the menu has a lot of great options. For our appetizers, we tried the cashews and squid, and the squid was absolutely fantastic! For our main courses, we had a pizza and spaghetti marinara. Both were good, but they didn’t reach the same level of excellence as the squid. Overall, it was a wonderful night out. Just a heads up: many dishes come garnished with chopped parsley, so if you’re not a fan, be sure to request it without!
This is a charming restaurant with excellent service, food, and drinks. The cocktails were delightful, the blackened beef ribs were incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, and the desserts were heavenly. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere was also wonderful. We enjoyed the cozy fire drum before our meal and later appreciated the comfort of the indoor dining area.
I recommend this restaurant to everyone. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed. And instead of turning us away, the owner made an effort to ensure we had somewhere to sit. And of course there wine and food were superb! Please support this business! I love when owners actually get their hands and feet dirty.
