We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The owners, a friendly couple, accommodated our large group of 9 even though we arrived just fifty minutes before closing. They asked us what items we wanted from the buffet and prepared them fresh for us.
I have to eat at 11 o'clock. the load was just opened, but eating on the buffet was amazing and hot, although there were only 4 of us at the moment eating. I have only one complaint I have, is the freeze, the chocolate ice cream tastes.
The food was cold and looked as if it had been in their warmers for quite some time. I never noticed, but the wife says counters, etc were sticky from not being cleaned, Granted, we were there and they were 2 hours from closing time and most likely were cutting back on their production and not placing new food out..... but still !!!!
I haven't had the opportunity to dine here in a while, but I've always enjoyed the food and service! I'm looking forward to the opening of the sushi buffet!
I only discovered this place a couple of years ago. As a CNA, one of my residents had a doctor’s appointment in Sioux Falls and wanted to stop at their favorite restaurant. Since that first visit, I've made it a point to stop by every time I’m in Mitchell. I absolutely love it!
