The beer garden is fantastic here in spring/summer. We had a great time catching up with family, getting some sun, being comfy, watching the kids run around and have a drink or two. A relaxed atmosphere. Then we went inside for dinner, a wide range and a few good vegan options. The main downside to the food was the tofu was a bit lackluster, but the rest of the meal devine. What User doesn't like about The Edinburgh:
On a weekday evening, a family of five decided to have a quick dinner at this restaurant after being let down by previous dining experiences. Unfortunately, the children's meals arrived 20 minutes before the rest of the order, despite requesting that everything be served at once. This resulted in the kids becoming restless and impatient before the meal even began. View all feedback.
7 of us found the food and service fautless. Couldn't finish my mega chicken Sniz, too full. Suggest some vocals happening at lunchtimes, that Dusty Lee you have on some Sundays for instance.
Great wine. Great food. Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was fantastic. Head waitress knew her stuff and nothing was to much trouble. All the food was fresh and came out at the same time.
Very hot day 37 degrees but the fans and misting fans were fantastic in the garden area. Lots of tables with BIG shady umbrellas. Lovely menu smoked salmon salad with pomegranates delicious.
Very nice food and wine at reasonable prices with a wide variety to choose from. The staff are just lovely and can't do enough for you very professional. We'll definitely be going back.
Great hotel. Amazing atmosphere, with a lovely beer garden, which is perfect on a Summers day. The staff all lovely. Delish food, try the chorizo halumi sliders. Will deffinately be back
