First off - this restaurant is named HAKKA LEGEND, not Tangerine Asian Cuisine. Family and I visited this restaurant twice in the past year (2015) and were not disappointed either times. Food is good, service is decent, and the value is great as the service size is large and prices are moderate to low. Overall, great and close to home, will visit again. View all feedback.

We got group orders in for the office, somewhat around 20 lunches each time. The first time, they forgot my lunch, missing a few pop/spring roll. Someone needed to drive back and pick it up. My honey garlic ck was soaky. The second time they had it mixed it up again. They had my order (unfortunately, I was the "lucky" one) on the receipt, but not in the bag. They gave me something else. They had extra spring rolls, bu... View all feedback.
Deep Fried Crispy chicken and Chilli Beef Dry are the 2 menu on top of our list. This is the go to place when you or your wife do not want to cook and enjoy your family time together instead cooking. The lunch packet is worth it. Chilli Beef with rice costs you about $5.95 plus tax. For the 3 of us, 2 meals is enough.
My hubby and I had a wonderful dinner here last night. Restaurant interior is clean, nicely decorated and they have comfortable size booths. We ordered the Manchurian House Special Hakka Noodle, Beef in yellow curry sauce and the Manchurian Chicken. The noodle dish arrived at our table about 5 minutes after we placed the order! The restaurant was busy so that was a nice surprise! We dug in right away and it was delicious! The noodle dish was spiced just right and not oily. The server brought the other two dishes a few minutes later and I thought she was going to go back to the kitchen to get our bowls of steamed rice (which comes with these 2 dishes). However, we waited a bit and she didn't return so we had to flag down a busboy to go get our rice. This was the only downside of our dinner experience. Both the beef curry & the Manchurian chicken had lots of sauce and had a nice spicy kick! The Manchurian chicken is usually breaded but since we asked for sliced white meat & not breaded, there was an extra $3 charge for this but it was worth it. The prices are quite reasonable - our dinner for two with a soft drink came to $34 (without tax). The portions are a good size, we couldn't finish everything so we brought home leftovers! Free fortune cookies for dessert. We will definitely return here and try other items on their extensive menu. If you like Indian Chinese fusion food, give this place a try.
Tried a few times for ordering take outs during lunch time for their specials. Lots to choose from and it's very good deal. Choices between $5.95 and $6.95, you gotta choose the main and soup, pop or spring roll. I always choose their hot & sour soup. Unlike the other Chinese food places around the area, their h&s soup doesn't come in red and salty. For the main, I tried their chicken ma po tofu, seasame chicken and bombay chicken. They're all good. Huge portion. I always have extra to bring home. My whole fam loves the seasame chicken - still crispy after a couple of hours. Me and my hubby love the bombay chicken - the onion & garlic & spice had added extra flavors. Will definitely go back...
This is our regular Lunch place during work hours. They have a pretty good set menu for lunch with combo prices of $6 and $7 that comes with the main dish with white rice + soup or spring roll or pop. If you need more than 1 side item, they charge extra. They always have the hot n sour soup for lunch and no other varieties in the combo unless you order the soup separately. However the quantity is good enough even if you stick to the regular combo. The service is getting better and fast for lunch time when everyone is short on time. The prices and quantity for dinner time is also very good. We have tried Bombay chicken, Manchurian and their Thai curries which are good.
We have been to Hakka Legend a few times. The food and service is good. Quantity is great though at time this impacts the quality. Overall a good place to eat.
