I was pleasantly surprised by this airport restaurant, especially since it had a nice area for sitting with table service. The service was pleasant and efficient, although they forgot to ask if I wanted a whole wheat roll and I forgot to mention it. The chicken was delicious and the portion of fries was generous. However, I noticed that the sauce seemed to disappear too quickly, which was puzzling. The size of the ch... View all feedback.
What Ovinna A doesn't like about Swiss Chalet:
Had to make a quick stop to grab dinner as flight kept getting delayed. They sat me and my colleagues fairly quickly and server followed up right after. The drinks and dinner came really fast, like within 5 minutes of placing the order, which was a plus for me. The food itself was as expected, its Swiss Chalet so I managed my expectation accordingly. No glaring issues and no pleasant surprises either. The dark meat h... View all feedback.

I dislike eating at the airport. The portion sizes do not match the prices, and the staff appear unhappy to be there. I was in terminal 1 to bid farewell to someone and decided to have breakfast due to the early hour. It was a disappointing experience. Three of us ordered two omelettes and a BLT, and it took the kitchen 20 minutes (with no other customers waiting) to prepare our food. When we requested jam, we were given only one packet for the three of us. Eventually, we received two more packets after asking. The quality of the food was subpar; the omelettes were tasteless and undercooked, the home fries were essentially just french fries, and the BLT lacked proper ingredients. For over $50, this was unacceptable, even for airport standards. Swiss Chalet, you should be ashamed of the service provided.
You can never go wrong with the familiar and consistently delicious food at Swiss Chalet, which can be found all over Canada for convenience and comfort. This sentiment holds true at the Toronto Pearson airport, where the restaurant is located on the departures level of terminal 1. The modern urban decor provides a nice atmosphere, especially towards the back where there is a hidden bar with large TV screens to watch hockey games in a quieter setting. The rotisserie chicken is always a standout, with a side of vegetables and their signature centennial chicken noodle soup. This classic meal has remained deliciously consistent from Halifax to Vancouver, even since I was a child. While Swiss Chalet offers a variety of options on their menu, this is the dish I always order, dating back to my middle school days. In the midst of unhealthy airport food options, Swiss Chalet provides a necessary stop for healthy and comforting nostalgia at the Toronto Airport. It truly feels like a taste of home.
The woman who ordered food for me is just stupid. It's an airport restaurant so she should be quick to order food but she just walk around instead of ordering food for me. After like 5 minutes she started to do my order. And no asking about the how I want the eggs done. Never come again. Make me soooo angry.
Service is outrageous. Went two times. In the evening, we barely got any service even though it wasn't crowded. In the morning, there is his woman there that has the nastiest attitude.
