We stopped here while between international flights. They have good draft beer and friendly service and a melted cheese sandwich with the cheese on the outside which was unique and very good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Red Rocket:
Aside from the bartender the staff was rude and inattentive. Every table had to yell for service. Food not great and portion too small for the money. One of those places that acts like they are fine dining so they only need to give you a few fries with your $17 sandwitch and fries. View all feedback.
While waiting for my flight I ordered a wrap. It was very tasty and there was a nearby seating area. Would definitely try again. Costs were very reasonable for the large size of wrap. It was near Gate D-42.
Until my recent visit to the Tim Horton's oulet, the title of worst airport food outlet was held by a McDonald's fanchise in Chicago O'hare, but staff at the Tim Horton outlet at Terminal 3 Arrivals beat them hollow. Staff seemed unable to communicate in either English or French. All I wanted was a sugar-free cola or soft drink. Not too much to ask for. And I've succeeded quite well in places as far afield as lesser airports in mainland China. Succeeded in purchase only because another curstomer pointed to bottled soft drinks on a display outside the outlet. Avoid if possible -- patronage only encourages them to employ inadequate staff. As to the impression it gives to first-time arrivals in Canada, I can only imagine.
Service at this location is way too slow. Was in line about 25 minutes. The food is Timmy's so genuine Canadiana.
I went there with a reward ( free muffin) and they said to me they didn't have a way to gave it to me?? They didn't have an scanner?.. So you have a multimillion dollar franchises and they can't give me my free Muffin?.. Even if they don't have the system or the scanner what different does is make a gave away of one muffin?????.. This reward is the one you get an a email .. I talk to the manager and got the same answer .. And see you later .. So I work at the airport and I have to drive away 10min and go through all the things about driving around getting a parking spot just to claim this because Tim Horton's doesn't have a scanner at the airport ??? Really???
Even though it wasn't busy, the service seemed to take awhile. Snack were OK. Coffee was fine. Typical Starbucks.
