I recall going to Paramount 12-13 years ago when it was just a modest "hole in he wall" type restaurant that served honest food for an affordable price. You could stand behind the counter and tell the cook exactly which toppings you wanted on your shawarma, and they always put some fries inside the sandwich too. Now the price has doubled and the amount of food was cut in half. Very poor value, overpriced, we will not come back. Have to look for a new shawarma place...

I went to the Paramount for lunch with co-workers who recommended it highly. Right away I was impressed as the service was very good and the staff were friendly and engaging. They were also very patient in answering all the questions I had about their extensive menu. There was fresh bread delivered right away to the table and the food we ordered was very tasty.My only complaint is regarding the amount of smoke coming off the grill. There was so much smoke the air was hazy and the smell permeated my clothes for the rest of the day. But the quality of the food is enough that we will definitely be going back again.
