La Novita Bakery - Mississauga

Went for the first time the other day and found this nice little bakery with fresh bread and desserts.

I've been to this place three times in the past three years.

A couple of years ago when this bakery was remodeled it was great, I used to go often with my wife to have a cappuccino while getting some of their delicious pastries. But it didn't last long, soon after the service became an issue and I don't know if they changed the baker but the quality of the product diminished.

I ordered a cake on a rush, told them I needed it the same day. No one else I called could do it for me. But these guys did. The cake was perfect and delicious. I ordered an Italian Rum cake. I have bought this type of cake from several bakeries. This one was the best by far. I have ordered their Italian Rum Cake several times since that first time, and it has been equally great every time. Very consistent. Their pasteries are easily the best from any bakery in the city. Always very fresh, and very authentic. Nice service from the staff. Always friendly. Their deli is always stocked with very fresh cold cuts and cheeses. Try their cannolli. You will not be disappointed!!!!
