Iron Chef - Mississauga

Food was just ok. Not bad but not great. Drinks were ok. Could have been better. The show by the cooks best part. So go for experience more then food. Typical hibachi grill show. Very friendly. Been to dozens of different hibachi places before - first time cook let a guest help cook . Scored a lot of extra points for that experience.

Have had better sushi elsewhere for less $ but this was good and food was nicely presented. A la carte only menu. Service was okay, noting it was a late lunch (after 2pm). Didn't plan to come, just drove past and fancied some teriyaki/miso/rolls, and wandered in.Plenty of parking. On the corner of Dundas by Tomken.Once here. Won't be recommending.

Appetizers were tasty and fresh, main meal was a little salty. Staff was pleasant and the wait between courses was acceptable but longer than most even though restaurant was not that busy.

Service is generally very good. The Bento box lunch specials are good and reasonably priced. Lots of great sushi to choose from...overall great lunch spot.

Sat with a group at one of the cooking tables. The chef was captivating, and watching him cook was great fun. The food itself was ok. Scallops were overdone and the shrimp was 'ok'. The steak (which I did not have) looked pretty good, though.
