The restaurant has 3 branches. One on Derry road, the other on Courtney park drive and still another in Vaughan. It is a reasonably good restaurant and you will enjoy the tasty Chinese food in a peaceful and clean setting. Very affordable and you can remain on budget. It is not costly like Mandarin but is a good value for money. Moreover, the taste of Chinese food hakka style is awesome. What User doesn't like about China Palace:
If I could give this restaurant a zero, I would. The customer service at this restaurant is so awful! They mixed up my order twice and didn't apologize and when I brought it to thier attention, they seemed annoyed with me! Do your job and get me what I ordered lol simple. Needless to say, I am never ordering from this place again. The food I did end up getting didn't look like anything I ordered before and had a diff... View all feedback.
Visited the palace after watching a movie, came home expecting to have it all by myself some leftovers for tomorrow. My dad stole some from, but I still have enough leftovers for tomorrow! Delicious !!
Okay, so across from Kwality and tucked between an Osmows and another resto whose name escapes me, is this yummy Hakka resto. So family ordered all this food in advance before we sat down so bear with me as I don't know the official names : First off that spicy sour soup tom yum and fried corn were so addictive!! The corn soup was also good but besides the kids, the table loved the tom yum more. I preferred the chicken pakora but those that like spicier food liked the ask for dried version! chilli chicken more. Both were tender and juicy. There were two noodles dishes, one rice noodle and the other ...a special dish involving soup dumplings and noodles i think its off menu, so gotta order it in advance but totally worth it though!!! . Sorry, next time i go, I'll get the proper names XD Anyways, if all else fails, just show my pictures to the staff lol.
Love this place..Good in service and food portion. Best of luck.
Definitely one of the most comfortable restaurants I’ve tried during the pandemic! It was my first but definitely not the last visit. Everything was touchless, from menus to contact tracing. They even have a sanitizer bottle on every table. This place seems to take COVID protocols pretty seriously as I saw them actually sanitizing seats and tables after use. The cherry on top of the experience was the tasty food and friendly staff! Definitely recommend!
This is a restaurant for gastronomy. I would recommend this restaurant for those who like adventures and the preventive idea about what food should be. I write this review as an international foodie and an accomplished cook. I loved the innovative approach that Steve the owner / Chef has to inspire his Chinese, Fusion creations. Looks can be foolish when I entered the non-pretentious restaurant, I was ready to be disappointed that it was a run of the mill. But as the food came, it was pleasantly amazed. Starting from soup, Steve, began to surprise me, the juicy shrimps, chickens, the newly invented blend veg with manchurian balls, were succulent and herbal spip mix was just perfect. When he realized I was a food, Steve brought his new invention of stir fired chicken. It was finger licking good. His passion for food is outdated in his conversation. I would definitely give this food to my dog, along with my mother, children, friends.......... Visit this restaurant with open mind. I'm sure next time in the country. Himanshu London, England
