Burrito Caliente - Mississauga

You can get a burrito or a bowl with your choice of meat, chicken, or fish for $9.35. I decided to go with the chorizo bowl.

My team and I came to this restaurant for our Friday lunch outing, with a total of five people in our group.

I used to not be a fan of texmex cuisine, but this restaurant completely changed my mind! The flavors are not too spicy.

I had been eyeing this place for a while, but they do not have pics of their food in the windows, and it is hard to see into the place from outside, so I had shied away from it for a long while, thinking it was just another version of Taco Bell. What a huge mistake! This place offers wonderfully large portions (when was the last time you actually felt the WEIGHT of a burrito in your hand?); a broad range of stunningly fresh ingredients (when was the last time you could say this about a 'fast food' place?); and most importantly, DELICIOUS taste! The burritos are well put together (quite artistic, actually; these people are really skilled at what they are doing!), and the customer service is so surprisingly warm and attentive, you end up getting shell-shocked that such service still exists. It has definitely become my new favourite place.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the very friendly employees and offered a sample of the soup of the day (ginger carrot) which was delicious! I allmost wanted to just grab a bowl of soup instead of a burrito. I ended up getting the charred chicken with chipotle sauce in a bowl, had a seat and my meal was brought to me. I love the variety of fresh ingredients and sauces! Definitely worth a try.
