What The Happy Wanderer doesn't like about American Airlines Admirals Club:
The atmosphere is the best of everything. A much nicer environment to sit and relax than the airport terminal. Here it’s quiet and you can relax and utilize their own Wi-Fi within the lounge.I’m giving it a bad review because the food options are deplorable. This is supposed to be called the “ Admirals Lounge”I’m not asking it to be catered, but when you carry a certain name to imply is “ better than the normal airpo... View all feedback.
Terminal 3 doesn't have much to offer in Lounge space. I get it. This was my first time accessing the lounge as I'm Oneworld Emerald for the first time but the lounge was nightmarishly crowded very hot due to the sun beating through the window shades. I suppose the seating was as good as can be but the food offerings were laughably bad. I would have expected something that surpassed the Plaza Premium lounge just next door but the only thing that seemed to be actively staffed was the bar which was fine... but I wouldn't recommend a re visit until they refactor the soft product....or find another space in T3.
I really can't follow the ever-evolving rules that indicate whether my AA ticket and status will let me into an Admirals Club. Fortunately, after an overcrowded and not-premium experience at the adjacent Premium Plaza Lounge, my ticket worked for entry to this Admirals Club. Immediately admirable was that there were maybe 5 guests in here, which was about 50 less than next door. Food spread was good, drinks were nice, WiFi was fast, and I didn't bang elbows with anyone.
Yes, it's as bad as the reviews suggest. The food options are terrible and the food quality is very low. Petrified eggs are the only protein. The oatmeal was cold. It's a small lounge by so are many AC lounges and they have better food options.

Thanks for the incredible experience guys.
I went really early in the morning at 5. It was a small lounge and had some basic breakfast items. I am not sure why but Admirals Clubs are a bit difficult to locate. Maybe they need to work on their signage, maybe colors. The lounge was clean and the staff was okay. No complaints. The club was after the customs to US, so I was able to grab a couple of fruits to eat on the flight. AA clubs don't have water bottles to go. They only have cups/glasses unlike other lounges I am used.
