Some diners were disappointed with the food and service, citing greasy and bland dishes, as well as unenthusiastic staff. Others enjoyed the unique Italian atmosphere, fast and friendly service, and delicious food offerings. The portion sizes were a concern for some, noting they have decreased over the years. Despite some mixed reviews, many appreciated the ambiance and had a pleasant dining experience, especially when seated outdoors on the patio. Overall, while there were some issues with consistency and portion sizes, Scaddabush seems to offer a fresh blend of modern American and Italian cuisine that keeps patrons coming back.
It was my first time in this restaurant, on recommendation of my daughter during our dinner together. although I understand that there could be a waiting time to take a place, but after we have given our names and waited to be called (between 15 .20 min, as they said), we saw many empty tables that had to be cleaned only, but no one approached to get them ready. there was no big line by the way. we saw many customers walking, left their names then got tables before us. When I went to the young lady at the front, she seemed confused and hesitant, and I immediately realized that she forgot us. we have our table after 35 min. the ambiente and the atmosphere are really excellent, real Italian restaurant, lighting is ideal, but a thing didn't even agree with the atmosphere, it was the music. the wrong genre and very loud. when we tried to find out if this is necessary to have the music of this dance club and hard beats and at such a high volume, the answer was the decision of the manager, and no one can argue with it! by the way, the music was compared with the music played in another city in the gta on the same chain. but in place one it was really uncomfortable. eating was good, not dared as I expected, maybe because it was late! and the worth did not correspond to all the experience. I probably don't go back to this place.
Went to scaddabush with members of our hockey team family. everyone enjoyed eating the server a good job with our big party. our first time, it will be definitiv.
We reserved table for 5. we sat on the table next to the main entrance and every time the doors open a strong draft, icy brise will send. we had a baby with us. we wanted to move back, but they said it wasn't possible. we talked to the manager and she liked to respect us. at the beginning we ordered red wine and cheese and some gluten-free bread. for the main we ordered pizza, family size ravioli and a gluten-free pasta. unfortunately we found a long hair in pasta. that was replaced by apologies. when we started eating pasta, we noticed many wobbles in it. we have ordered gluten-free pasta without wobble for elegies. we didn't complain, but just point out that it was manager. this food ice cream has long been our favorite and has been satisfied with service and eating. Maybe it wasn't our night. Hopefully it won't happen to them. Now we'll think twice before we come back. only one word for the administration: this type of mistakes should never happen in any restaurant. it is necessary to take precautions and to take serious measures against the staff in the debt.
I was extremely disappointed today when I ordered scaddabush on the queensway. first they forget the spinach artichoke dip. how does that even happen? then the gnocci was processed lagerbought. they know who comes in a vacuum sealed package. in supermarket. I know that because they never really cooked it, it was still hard and had the texture they got when it is out of the package, I noticed changes in this restaurant last year, but this really solidifies it for me. I'll never eat here. ciao scaddabush. I would not recommend it here at all!
Went to your restaurant in Oakville. our waiter was fabulous there was 5 people in my party. the food was totally disgusting. I paid for a steak that was so fatty, my mother's pasta and sauce had literally no taste. we ordered a social Caesar...salad which was so Bland. one of my daughters had this green (I think it was pasta). There was so little on her plate that it wouldn't fill a 10 year old. my granddaughter had a fettucine kids meal which I tried and that was fabulous. I would never go to this restaurant again nor will I recommend this restaurant.
