Ordered the Tostada plate, pretty good but the salad part that goes on top was ice cold which made the rest of the tosdada cold also. Now for a warning... beware the red sauce that comes separate. Super hot as in spicy. Wait staff very friendly and inviting. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Taqueria La Mexicana:
good tacos. the charro bons lacked taste, but the baked kartoffel was good, although it was small. I have the bistek taco combo, consisting of 4 mais bistek tacos, baked kartoffel, carbon beans a drink for $13! for the price it is really not worth it, but it has a trip through and I was in a hurry, so much luck next time for me as I don't really know many great taquerias in the mission area. Food is always good, service wasn't that amazing, definately could use some improvement The drive thru needs a lot work. I had to practically scream for her to hear me. She kept asking what, fix your speaker, get a better one, or someone at the window who can multitask. A simple order shouldnt take me 10 minutes. And paying a full price for mexican coke when a drink is already included in the meal isn't right. Proration would make more sense. Very frustrating. Needs work
It is a peaceful place, very family friendly and the food is ready in no time!
To give two stars because it's good, but the prices didn't even come here. An order of 6 tacos was 7 and now?s 12!! that?s crazy and was too expensive!
I was trying to get me. They said they couldn't charge money on the phone. I said I'd send my husband through the ride and that he'd get the order himself through the ride. You said okay. He arrives 10 minutes later. They tell him it's closed (even if Google says they close at 11:00 and not at 10:00). My husband said we just called and they said we could get through the drive thru. They said Kocher had already turned Friteer off so that the kitchen was closed. I call myself, and they gave me another story that messed up the AC and that they had to close today. If the AC melts within 10 minutes, why close the entire kitchen? Bad service, they obviously try to go home. Super disappointed. I talked to a manager and she didn't know why they didn't tell me they were closed when I called 10 a.m. (They close at 11)
