I enjoyed a variety of dishes at the buffet and it was the best one I've had. The tortillas were freshly made and the food was also fresh. The restaurant was very clean and most importantly, it offered authentic Mexican food. I particularly loved the guisado de puerco dish. Overall, it was a great dining experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Taco Ole:
Once we discovered a cockroach in our rice, the atmosphere soured and our appetite vanished. We were no longer able to appreciate the food. Despite the great service, the overall experience was disappointing. The food was also overly salty. Rating: 1 out of 5. View all feedback.
Food used to be delicious here, but this past week they do not have sanitary standards to the point that we found small roaches in our food. My sister found one in her pancakes and I found another one in my scrambled eggs. We were so disgusted and just left. Don't know what is happening but this place is going down the hill. The city should audit them because that was plain disgusting.
The food is really good. Reasonably priced and you get dessert too! The capirotada is delicious it reminds me of the one my grandma and mom used to make.Food: 5/5
We were looking for an inexpensive place to dine one evening. We did not do a lot of research on our dining destination but thought lets eat at a taco place. This place has tacos but it has a whole lot more than that. They have a buffet of many Mexican foods. We sampled many of the offerings. Our take is that this type of food does not stay fresh for long periods on a buffet. They do make their own soft tortillas which were very good. Overall the buffet (as most we have tried) was underwhelming. Our ratings for this place: Food 3 stars Atmosphere 3 stars Romantic Appeal 3.5 stars Service 3 stars Renown 2 stars Value 2 stars This all averages to 2.75 stars so we will round up to 3 stars. The buffet was in the $15 per person range. Not exactly what we thought we were looking for but it definitely filled our stomachs. We would not likely return here rather opting to try to find a gem elsewhere.
Great ppl awesome food very freshly made. Service was awesome as well.Kid-friendliness: They adjust plates to fit my boys liking.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables can be moved to help with space for someone in a wheel chair.
Worst meal I have had in Texas. Ribs were dry, tough, and flavorless. Beef was mostly grizzle,. Rest of meal was flavorless. Over $40 for a disappointment. Do not go.They contacted me through Google and asked me to reach out. I guess you could give me a refund. that would be only fair since my meal was inedible.
