My family and I love to visit a few Saturdays a month to their chicken and wild rice soup, highly recommended. Your cookies?chippers? are another of our favorites. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Paradise Bakery And Cafe:
The cookies are amazing but don't expect anything spectacular in terms of service. The staff are primarily young and will be texting in between preparing your drink. My latte was horrible 10% espresso and 90% milk just pure awful. The female worker had a slight attitude in general but I couldn't accept the milk down beverage... View all feedback.

The cookies are good (I mean, they are cookies, so they should be), but the coffee is not good. And the service is downright terrible. Thanks for the 1000 degree coffee with no sleeve. Also, don't bother asking if I need cream or sugar. And this coffee needs some cream and sugar. Horrible. Tastes like it's three days old. Good help is hard to find. More so lately.
Located inside the mission viejo mall the shops at mission viejo Paradise cookie offers up some of the best cookies plus you can just about anywhere. There are a few new cookie shops that have popped up lately but Paradise has been around for at least 15 years if not longer. Not only do they make really good cookies... but also great soups, salads and sandwiches. Also muffins and loaves like zucchini bread. The highlight, however, are the cookies. Our favorites are the maple gingerbread, which they usually have around the holidays. The snickerdoodle and the chocolate chip are staples and are outstanding. They also have a chocolate chip walnut and a whole lot more full sized cookies. Their gem are what they call chippers. They are bite sized oatmeal chocolate chip cookie minis and are incredible. They also make their double chocolate chocolate chips in these bite sized treats. There used to be a second location at the Costa Mesa mall but it 's no longer in operation. At any rate ... go here...eat cookies!!!!
Today, I went to Paradise Cafe, ordered brownie and Bagel. Brownie was disgusting. Bagel was so old, I believe it was made before evolution.
It's the best foodery at the Mission Bay home Mall and I'm happy to say that I have to almost eat there every day. So I know what I'm talking about!
