Great food, great staff and at affordable prices - the restaurant is a very nice place with real good food. My partner and me both had the salmon for main, and shared barramundi spring rolls and bruschetta to start and all of the food was great. We also the night before had the Thai vegetable curry and that was also beautiful. One gripe, I did make a reservation for the one table with the best view and it wasn't reco... View all feedback.

Was looking for something a bit different, I know this is a beautiful setting one of my favourite spots.....however the food was a let down. We took visitors tonight and it was very embarrassing. Lots of other options and beautiful spots for a meal in MISSION BEACH View all feedback.

Great meals at reasonable prices, set in a topical oasis.Service was great & were of a good size.Relax before or after your meal with a relaxing walk along the beach in front of the restaurant.
We had dinner in the Longhouse. For entre we had Coconut prawns with dipping sauces they were magnificant, for mains we ordered Mushroom pasta and Thai vegitarian curry. We also ordered a bottle of red wine. Unfortunately the wine was on the higher side of the price range. When the meals arrived, the Mushroom pasta dish was substantial, the pasta was perfect and the flavours were very nice, however the lack of mushrooms was disappointing. Also the sauce was on the heavy side. The dish was unable to be finished, so big needed more mushrooms and less pasta. The Thai curry was half a bowl of steamed rice just globbed onto the plate with a very small amount of vegetables and sauce. It tasted Ok, but I did have a laugh with 2 (indian) poppadoms on the side. At $19 for the pasta and $18 for the Thai dish, we feel it was overpriced and disappointing. The bar service was fine, polite and friendly. The Longhouse is very open to the elements and a cold windy night would be very unpleasant. Luckily our night was fine, however there were a lot of night flying bugs around. We will not rush back.
We stayed at the Eco Village, so one night we decided to check out the restaurant which is located within the village (not sure whether they only cater for guests of the village...I did not see any external advertisement). In principle this is a nice location in Thai style, very close to the beach etc. The food was ok, but not much more. We had some steak, some fish and some prawns...as already said...all was ok, but nothing was special. The price was very decent as well...but still hard to imagine that one would go there a second time during a stay in Mission Beach.
Delightful ambiance to the long house. Excellent meal. Prawns and barramundi mains were great. Crocadile spring rolls very tasty
