The locally roasted, organic, fair trade coffee supports Cafe Femenino, helping women in coffee farms. With a dedication to business ethics, community involvement, and even delivering during quarantine, this spot offers excellent customer service. The lattes are delicious, and the gelatin is a hit, making it a great stop before a day out at Sasquatch Park. Grab-A-Java is a must-visit for coffee lovers looking to support a small business with great products. #buylocal #amazing.
An excellent little coffee shop with very friendly staff. Very good Ameicano's and tasty berry scones. A nice place to relax and enjoy your beverage.
Located in a strip mall on 7th Ave very close to the Rec Centre. It used to have a covered patio at the entrance and I imagine the District of Mission came with some reasons for getting away with that great option. I have enjoyed their smoothies for years each summer. I unfortunately do not drink coffee ( I am sensitive to caffeine big time) but I know the promote fair coffee crops where the farmers benefit. My favourite smoothie is the 4 berries. Love it!
I went in here Feb19 ordered a gigantic latte which i was informed comes with 4 shots of espresso. It tasted really good would definitely recommend for anyone looking for coffee. I am normally a starbucks person when traveling but saw this on tripadvisor and had to give it a try.
Grab-A-Java is truly a local success story. When Dave, the current owner, took it over many years ago, it tended to be a hang-out for young rebels. Dave is an ex-U.S. Marine and, in very short order, he turned it into one of Mission's favourite coffee spots. I frequently go past it just after 6 a.m. and, even in the winter, there are people sitting outside (and inside 0f course) enjoying their morning coffee. Dave has also built an operates his own coffee-roasting premises that is open to a public visit on roasting days. You can sample a range of his coffees and purchase the makings of your favourite brew right there. Highly recommended and worth making the short detour from the Lougheed Highway to 7th Avenue.
In-house roasterie. Can't get any better than that. Owner sources coffee beans in season from different places in the world.
