Hidden jewel in a simple look. Every Saturday evening at 19:00 people wait 45 min to over an hour to eat. Came in, after Hi Ho, we sit immediately, had excellent service and amazing food. Her green tea and food is the best Chinese food I had every time in three states. Like this place isn't packed every night, shocks me. The pot stickers are fantastic, the egg rolls are crispy, fresh and delicious. Every duck we had... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hi Ho Chop Suey:
Ordered the special, honey chicken, in a carry out order as a combination dinner which comes with a spring roll, fried rice and soup. When we got home, we had received honey chicken alone with two servings of white rice and nothing else that was supposed to come with it. View all feedback.
The food is always hot and delicious. I've been here for over 8 years and I'm always happy with the food and service.
Great food, decent prices, great service, weird vibe with the helicopter but overall great experience will be back.
Zero atmosphere but the American chop Suey (like always) hit the spot. Word of warning, though. You will be paying more than the price on the menu.
We generally have a couple of other go-to Chinese places that are a bit closer to our home, but we often go to this side of town and we felt like a sit down meal so we decided to try out their new location. We were there around 4:30pm on a Friday and it was not busy at all. We ordered the Hunan Beef and Szechuan Triple Delight, and we both got Wonton soup (and drinks of course) our total was about $25. Our food had similar but slightly different sauces and was good. We had not had either of these dishes before so I can't really compare them to anyone else's. The food was good, service acceptable, and atmosphere wasn't bad but definitely still shows that the awful crab place was there before. I wouldn't replace either of my top two Chinese restaurants with this one, but I would probably stop by again.
We love Hiho 's food. Have been coming for close to 30 years.....but, as much as I hate to say it, the ambiance in the new location is very dark and unpleasant. I highly recommend some carry out!!
