The Slow - Mirissa

This restaurant is located right on the beach, making for a beautiful setting. The burgers were delicious and the crispy small potatoes that came on the side were a nice alternative to the typical fries. While it may be a bit pricier, the quality of the food, setting, and service make it great value.

The restaurant is situated in a stunning location and the staff is extremely friendly. However, the coconut milk ice cream was the only highlight as the food was not satisfying. The cauliflower steak, seasoned with turmeric, was disappointing as it was too watery and came with potatoes that tasted old. Additionally, the meal was quite expensive.

We came here first for breakfast and the coffee was really nice best coffee with coconut milk we've had in Sri Lanka so far. The avocado and toast and pancakes were as well nice. The entire atmosphere was very chill and, all in all, we left very pleased. However, when we came for dinner the same day, we waited for almost 50min between ordering and actually receiving our order. We asked for the drinks twice and nobody bothered. When we wanted to leave they told us the order got mixed at another table or something, and kept asking if we moved tables which we didn't. The food was not something to write home about either.

They serve delicious vegan food in an awesome place!
