I will never step foot into this place ever again, if your not dressed a certain way they won’t look at u or make u leave, if you snowmobiling and a bunch of u stop for dinner, don’t bother going In cause u will be put right out......not good business at all....we live in a snowmobiling zone with trails and the river......ignorant View all feedback.
I ate at Riverside last night and have eaten here before quite a number of times. The food ranges from excellent to outstanding. The menu has delicious pasta choices, seafood, steak, and more. For the Miramichi, like O'Donoghue's it is a bit pricier than the typical restaurant here but well worth it. Starters run from approximately $9 to $13; mains from about $13 to $23 and cocktails from $5.95 to $8.25. Still, all things being equal, less expensive than most cities I've travelled to. Food is prepared by an excellent chef, the atmosphere is nice, the place is clean, parking is plentiful, and the establishment enjoys a good reputation. I highly recommend it.
East coast specials with great fish and lobster. What more can you ask for the place features a great atmosphere good location free parking and ice cold drinks! The staff are awesome and the place offers gaming with ALC lottery terminals. The view facing the Miramichi River while enjoying Maritime hospitality is sure to please!
Wednesday is steak night. $9.99 included steak, veggies, and side. Steak is cooked properly and we ordered a side of mushrooms. Very good!!
On Saturday and Sunday breakfast is served until 4pm. I had the two egg breakfast, bacon, pan fries and toast. It was hot and eggs were cooked exactly the way I ordered. I also ordered the pancakes once and they were fluffy, hot and serving was big!!! Service was fast and very friendly!! Prices were excellent for serving size.The lunch/supper menu leaves a bit to be desired. Seems like it caters to a specific taste. And it's very limited. Prices are a bit high for the quality & quantity of food. The one thing I find, you could go tonight for a meal, then back two days later, order the same thing and it arrive, half the size and totally different. With the lunch/supper menu it's a hit or miss. It's almost like its a Pub atmosphere (which its suppose to be) and the Chef is trying to produce a high-end refined menu. (And not doing a great job some times). Having said that, their Fish & Chips are always delicious and the serving size is great. Soup is always hot and delicious. Chicken Fricot is the best in the city!!!Overall the staff are friendly, drinks are fabulous and "some" of the food is good.
They can cook a steak! Service was fast Drinks are great! All meals I have tried very good. We had a staff party of 20 and everyone was very pleased with the service and food.
