Was Gypman at Ausable River a mag?
A large group came in shortly after, which drew the attention of our waitress. However, the owner came over to ensure our satisfaction with our meals and took over for the waitress while she tended to the larger party. Overall, we had a very positive experience.

What Joshua Biel dislikes about Ausable River:
On my most recent visit when we dined in, the service made us feel unwelcome. The staff appeared very young and unprofessional. Additionally, the pricing seems questionable—two sandwiches and two drinks totaled $63.50. I seriously doubt this restaurant can thrive with such high prices and inexperienced staff.

We visited during the off-season in late October and I was pleasantly surprised by the bar and food selections, the service, and the clean restrooms, even though there were only a few customers at 6 PM on Thursday during the fall. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (seasonally, perhaps?). I thoroughly enjoyed the hot brisket sandwich, which featured beef that was cooked in their backyard smoker.
Very nice place to eat. Reasonable prices. LOVE the bathroom sink!
