The vibes are really cool but the food is pretty mediocre. points for good drinks!
I spent 45 minutes at a table without even being acknowledged. The server simply dropped off the menus and mentioned she would return shortly. After 15 minutes, I still hadn't received any service! This was my third visit, and it's the second time I've experienced poor service. The restaurant has a fantastic concept and location, but the service leaves much to be desired.
High Third has a unique menu (for Minot) and the food served is good quality. The drinks are strong but service can get pretty slow upstairs on the patio. I would rate them 5 stars but it came to my attention that they took my picture months ago without my consent or knowledge while I was at the restaurant eating and have now been using it for advertising on social media.
We had a few questions about the menu, and our server, Douglas, was exceptional. He took the time to explain the menu to us and answered all our queries, helping us make the best selections. Throughout our meal, he was attentive without being intrusive. Despite the restaurant being busy, he remained calm and composed. As for the food—delicious! We each tried different combinations from the High 3 menu. Some of the poutine options were quite unique, and the tacos were fantastic! The soup was also delightful. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
Great atmosphere, cold beer and great food. Wife and i went tonight and had great service and food was excellent.
