First time eating here. Staff were warm and welcoming. Service was fast! I had 1 item combo with Rice and Orange Chicken. It was a delicious meal, but I found the red sauce very watery, it could be thicker, but that may just be thier recipe. I'll defiantly come back. View all feedback.
What Gérard Fillion doesn't like about Bento Japan:
At first, I was hesitant because Google labeled this restaurant as Chinese, even though it has "Japan" in the name. Despite this confusion, I found that this is actually the best East Asian restaurant around, especially when compared to other Japanese restaurants that primarily serve hibachi and sushi. Bento Japan is a very good place. It has good food, and good service. I get their rice all the time, as well as their chow mein. They have quick service and very good meals.
Unbelievable disgusting food and gave a single piece of beef, filled everything else with brocolli. Fukcing GENIUS LOL
I ordered fried rice and 2 meat (orange chicken and bourbon chicken). The meat tasted sour or should I say, it tasted old. They pour the sauce over it to cover up the sour taste of the meat.
Honestly the sweetest old Asian lady was working today. All the food was extremely fresh and cheaper than their asain food competitor in the food court. The guys over there just seemed rude and rushy. This lady however was the polar opposite. An absolute sweetheart. I just had to tip her. Got what felt like 3 pounds of food for $10. She even let me try all the food I wanted before deciding to buy. If I'm going to the mall. I'm definitely gonna have to come back....I genuinely wish I would've tipped her more.(Also just food for thought literally lol. If the chicken is breaded it's only good fresh. No matter where you go. After a couple hours it gets hard. If you want your leftovers to taste like it was just made. Get the bourbon or mushroom chicken. It's literally so good ? and doesn't get hard like the other chicken)
This isn't Japanese food . This is Chinese take out. Misrepresented.
