This building has seen a variety of restaurants over the years I've lived in the area. Typically, they last a few months before closing due to poor food quality or service. However, I am extremely impressed with this establishment. While the prices may be a bit higher, the consistent quality of the food, along with the great atmosphere and friendly staff, makes it worth it! View all feedback.
What Gíslunn Marteinns doesn't like about Badlands Restaurant And Bar:
Not a fan. I gave it a try because I was visiting Minot and one of the reviews said.. better than longhorn. I ordered pretzel sticks and they tasted like they had just been taken out of the freezer and put in the oven. A little soggy. The steak was cooked to perfection however, the taste left little to be desired and the soda was flat. Service was great and fast and restaurant looked very friendly and clean. Just not... I had a delightful daddy-daughter date with my two-and-a-half-year-old. The service was excellent, and they set us up perfectly. She enjoyed mac and cheese and French fries, which she absolutely loved. I ordered the Bourbon salmon. While I would rate that dish around 3 to 4 stars, I have a few critiques: the sauce was a bit thin, although it was flavorful. As for the broccoli, it was more steamed with just a hint of salt rather than seasoned as described. Nevertheless, everything was still quite tasty. Our server, Richard, was outstanding—super friendly and genuinely seemed to care about providing great service. The seating area was clean, and our food arrived quickly and was well-presented. I will definitely visit again.
Very cool spot! Atmosphere: rustic charm. Décor includes a lot of wood, a lot of deer/moose heads, and some gorgeous stained glass light fixtures. I went on a Wednesday night in June, it was bustling and busy, but still able to get a table quickly.Large menu of options to choose from. I got the Badlands Burger with fried pickles (instead of fries) and a cherry limeade. Itwas all amazing. Wish I had room for dessert.
I decided to stop by this restaurant because it's known as the best steakhouse in the area, and it did not disappoint! I sat at the bar, where the beer was refreshing and the Thai chili shrimp were delicious. The Badlandz ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare, truly melting in my mouth. It was worth every penny! I've had my fair share of steaks across the country, and this one is right up there with the top-tier places like Ruth's Chris. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for the amazing staff!
This was my first visit, and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The wait times were reasonable for everything, and the prices were fair. I look forward to returning in the future.
The waiter was fantastic, and the food was excellent. As someone with Celiac Disease, I really appreciated how seriously they took my dietary restrictions by double-checking everything. The broccoli and cheddar soup was absolutely delicious!
