The Sweet Shop - Minonk

Wonderful folks there, just a mother and daughter afaik, and it’s now a tradition to get ice cream there whenever I visit my dad. Also, some of their sweets are home-made by the family, really good stuff.

Whenever we are back home we take the drive to Minonk Illinois to visit the Sweet Shop !!! Love this place

Anna is a lady that helps me out 2 days a week n had never been to minoik went to the dollar store n I told her about the famis for there marshmallow sodas they have she was amazed wen she walked n the door it's a place she will remember she got a cherry coke with vanilla n extra cherry n of course marshmallow topping she loved it o I had chocolate vanilla n 2 scoops of marshmallow it was the bomb

Cute little shop. Brought back alot of childhood memories.

Went there on an off chance since it was close to the interstate. The ice cream was good, and it's a really cute place. The candy selection is wonderful. Might stop by again to try the baked goods!
