Bootlegger's Grill - Minong

There was a deer right in front of the bar! The bartenders and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I was doing okay. They even gave me a complimentary beer and offered their assistance in various ways. As a woman, I appreciated that the bartender stayed close by, and the other ladies gave me the space I needed to make phone calls without having to step outside into the dark. Thank you, Bootleggers, for making my first (and honestly long-overdue) visit a pleasant experience, despite the unexpected appearance of a deer!

Wasn't sure to stay when we first got in. Excellent food and service. Every body was friendly. It's a great little diving bar!!!

Excellent hospitality and homemade pizza was fantastic but a little pricey I think.

It's been a year since our group visited this charming little spot that we absolutely adore. We reserved three tables for twelve people, and we were thrilled with the Walleye; it was simply delicious, and the homemade grain bread was incredible too. The owners were fantastic, and I can’t wait to see them again! We're planning to come back in August 2019, and we’ll be sure to call and make reservations again for our group of four.
