What Sherry Sullivan doesn't like about Stengl Marine Inc:
I am disappointed in the way a sales person treated us. I called today and he told us about a boat and I told him we would come up tomorrow and not list it or anything. We agreed on a price and 2 hours later he called and said he sold the boat to someone that said they would pay full price and sight unseen. Are you willing to ruin your reputation for $3k? As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed with professionalism and friendliness. Jake, a sales representative at Stengl, showcased his expertise by guiding us through their selection of Barletta Pontoons. He was impressive and personable throughout the entire experience! Mark and Jake are fantastic, and I highly recommend stopping by to explore their inventory or simply to meet two great guys! Additionally, a shoutout to the surf school partnered with Stengl, Surf Sconsin. If you're interested in trying the exciting sport of wake surfing, they are the perfect instructors to teach you on a stunning MasterCraft in the beautiful north woods!
I am disappointed with the way the salesperson treated us. I called today to inquire about a boat, and after discussing it, I told him we would come by tomorrow without committing to anything. We agreed on a price, but just two hours later, he called back to say that he had sold the boat to someone else who offered to pay full price without seeing it. Is it worth jeopardizing your reputation for an extra $3,000? In my opinion, this is unethical. At the very least, he could have reached out to us to see if we would be willing to pay the additional $3,000, as we would have agreed to it.
Stengl Marine has integrity like we have never seen before. As new customers, we had a major situation and they stood behind their work and made it right for us! We won’t go anywhere else! Thank you Stengl staff!
Stengl has been fantastic to deal with! I initially spoke with Bill, and then continued my conversation with Jake Van Hefty, both of whom provided exceptional customer service. Bill answered all my questions on a Saturday and offered a very reasonable price for the boat. Since I live five hours away from the dealership, I couldn’t inspect the boat in person, so Jake arranged a video call to walk me through every detail of it. He clearly knows his stuff and addressed all the questions I had during the call. They even offered to store the Moomba until spring so I won't have to tow it home in the snow, and they'll perform an on-water demonstration for me when I pick it up. I feel confident in my decision to buy from Stengl, and I'll be recommending them to anyone I know in search of a new or used boat! The waiting will make for a long winter!
I had brought my x10 from Michigan to eagle River for a family vacation. On day 2 it was having electrical trouble. I found out Stengl was close and called. Stengl responded with experience and knowledge and best of all they said they would slide it in and they did. They worked through their lunch and get it done that day. I picked it up that night! Great bunch of people who care in service at Stengl.
