What User doesn't like about Midori's Floating World Cafe:
The order lasted over an hour, which was good, but when we showed up at the pick-up time, it turned out that they had missed our order and we had to wait 20 minutes on the parking lot. They threw a free soup as an excuse. All this could have been forgiven if Sushi and Sashimi were good. It was very disappointing for the price, we had better and fresher sushi from the grocery store. Maybe it was a curse about pandemic... View all feedback.
Absolutely delicious. Nice preparation and presentation even on orders. So tender, and fresh, and flavorful.
I needed a treat, and did I ever get one in my bag of takeout tonight from Midori’s Floating World Cafe (in their temporary Seward Cafe location). The dumplings, entrees, and dessert were exquisitely prepared, with flavorful sauces and broths. Glad I splurged on the Daifuku: it was a little work of edible art. This food woke all of my senses for spring. I’ll be back.

Midori's is my go-to place for best sushi in the Twin Cities! Exceptional quality. I look forward to them reopening in their own restaurant soon, but Seward Cafe's weekend takeout option is very easy and rewarding!
We ordered vegetarian sushi platters, tempura, some sides and mochi daifukus for dessert. It was a feast for the price and everything looked so nice. This was one of the best takeout experiences I have had during COVID. They are worth the little extra time it sometimes takes them to get all the details for you. What a treat! (I plated the pick up order in the photos)
