This was probably... read more I had a great dinner experience here last week. The new chef here has put together a great menu and the kitchen is operating at a high level. This was probably the best meal I 've had at a fancy restaurant in the Twin Cities this year. I 've been checking out a number of the supposedly top restaurants in the Twin Cities this year and have found many do well on atmosphere and presentation of the food but fall down when it comes to how the food actually tastes but I 'm happy to report that Borough delivered on the food as well. I especially enjoyed the smoked carrots and duck fat shortbread, they both were well balanced with a great combination of flavors.

The menu jus... read more It's unsettling when people mention they're going to eat in Borough. Usually, it’s their first visit, and I notice they rarely return. Why is that? The menu just isn’t appetizing at all. The only ones at the table who seem satisfied are those who order the burger. But I can’t fault the staff; their service is excellent.
