D'ame crepe - Minerve

We stumbled upon this place while strolling through Minerve. We did not manage to score one of the four tables the first try but were lucky on the second attempt. You feel as if you are sitting in someone's living room watching them prepare dinner for you. Each crepe/galette is handmade. The owner was flying solo when we were there and was hand mixing the batter while doing everything else. You may have to wait a bit longer, but you will have no doubt that your food is fresh and made to order. Any foodie interested in how to make a proper crepe/galette will get a real education here. This tiny restaurant is one of those unique finds you will not see everywhere. We enjoyed not only the food but also the unique experience of eating there.

The staff were friendly and we watched our crepes being freshly made. We had a salted caramel and a chocolate one. Both tasted good but I think they would have benefited from some ice cream on the side.There was a cat, Nina, on the window sill next to our table. Fine if you like cats (which my husband does), but it put me off a bit. Owner did try to take cat away several times but it clearly just wanted to sit there in the sun. This place is very small - only a few tables - but it still took a little while for us to be served and having waited a while, we just went and asked for the bill at the end. This seems to be typical of French service though.

Superb crêpes at reasonable prices! The owner is exceptionally friendly and seems to be really passionate about her job. Tasting the crêpes with homemade caramel or chocolate cream is a must!Apart from the filling, the crêpes are fluffy and crispy at the same time. Enjoy!

Had a lovely crepe there covered in caramel, to die for well worth a visit. This restaurant is hidden amongst the tiny street. We had such a lovely welcome and will certainly go back and try their gallettes. It was very reasonably priced.

We visited for crepes after having our main meal elsewhere. Having looked at the gallettes I think we should have had both courses.Staff friendly, you can see your food being prepared. Gallettes looked amazing, thoroughly enjoyed all of our crepes.My personal favourites are normally banana or flambeyed, but I may have been converted to salted caramel. Good value good service.....can't ask for anything more.
