Brazos Market Bistro - Mineral Wells

I attempted to visit the restaurant today, Saturday at 2:00 PM, but the doors were locked. There was no sign indicating it was closed. Inside, I noticed a woman who was working there, eating her meal and watching us. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning to the restaurant.

I recently dined in for lunch, and I found the experience to be quite enjoyable. The meal was reasonably priced, falling between $10 and $20 per person. The food earned a solid 4 out of 5 stars; it was flavorful and well-prepared. The service was also commendable, receiving a 4 for being attentive and friendly. Lastly, the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, making it a nice spot to relax and enjoy my meal, which also garnered a rating of 4. Overall, I would recommend this place for a satisfying lunch experience!

My husband opted for the Reuben sandwich, which featured traditional corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on dark bread. He found it very flavorful and polished off every last bite. We also ordered chips and drinks; the unsweetened iced tea tasted freshly brewed, and I suspect it truly was. Before long, the restaurant filled up with patrons after we sat down. The dining area has a retro vibe, with shiny metal chairs and tables, and everything was impressively clean, including the restrooms. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal at Brazos Market Bistro.

The salads here are excellent! I tried the shrimp salad, and it was delicious. My only complaint is that they don't offer sweet tea, only unsweetened.

Fantastic restaurant with wonderful people and even better food! It has a charming small-town atmosphere. Be sure to visit on a Friday to try the chicken fried ribeye—it's a must!
