What Punky P doesn't like about Brazos Market Bistro:
I strongly advise against parking in front of this establishment. They are quick to contact the police. I work nearby, and they reported my husband for simply waiting in the car while I ran some errands. We live an hour outside of town, so he came with me and parked while I finished my work. He wasn't causing any trouble—just passing the time on his phone. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1. View all feedback.
I attempted to visit the restaurant today, Saturday at 2:00 PM, but the doors were locked. There was no sign indicating it was closed. Inside, I noticed a woman who was working there, eating her meal and watching us. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning to the restaurant.

Overall, I would recommend this place for a satisfying lunch experience!
My husband opted for the Reuben sandwich, which featured traditional corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on dark bread. He found it very flavorful and polished off every last bite. We also ordered chips and drinks; the unsweetened iced tea tasted freshly brewed, and I suspect it truly was. Before long, the restaurant filled up with patrons after we sat down. The dining area has a retro vibe, with shiny metal chairs and tables, and everything was impressively clean, including the restrooms. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal at Brazos Market Bistro.
The salads here are excellent! I tried the shrimp salad, and it was delicious. My only complaint is that they don't offer sweet tea, only unsweetened.
Fantastic restaurant with wonderful people and even better food! It has a charming small-town atmosphere. Be sure to visit on a Friday to try the chicken fried ribeye—it's a must!
