Lovely quaint restaurant nice friendly staff service very good. Food exceptional mussels in white wine and garlic sauce tempura prawns, freshly home made burger, roasted sesame roll breast of chicken with jack sauce followed by warm Lemmon tart. I have eaten at Reeves many times and always been happy with the standard of the food cookery . This time my main was awful I ordered halibut the fish was dry overcooked and inedible. I was not sure what the sauce was but it...had very little flavour in fact the whole plate looked a mess . A wonderful family-owned restaurant with welcoming staff. They were able to get us a table even though the place was packed and we didn't have a reservation. They had a set menu which was very affordable. The food was presented beautifully, as were the drinks. The service was a little slow but we didn't mind, it left us a lot of time to converse. A member of the staff escorted each guest to the door upon their departure, which was very nice. The restaurant is dog-friendly. I definitely recommend this place!
This is a top-tier restaurant and a must-visit if you are passing through Dunster. Claire makes the experience that extra bit special with her kind, warm and considerate service. These values permeate through the entire restaurant. What's more, the food is fantastic. We had the beef wellington for Sunday lunch and it was -literallly- mouth watering. I cannot recommend Reeves Restaurant enough!
It 's a shame that, like a lot of places, the restaurant is 'dog friendly ', so that we were surrounded on all sides by dogs whilst we ate. Not everyone appreciates this when they are trying to enjoy a nice meal
Had a lovely evening at this restaurant tonight, from the moment you walk through the door you are warmly welcomed treated as though you were the only person in the restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff also. I just wish this restaurant was closer to where we live. Would recommend to all who visit Dunster please visit Reeves and you will be rewarded with a lovely evening of quality food and service.
Such a cute place and amazing dishes. To start with we had scallops and asparagus , then we went with their seafood pasta, tuna, sea-bass and lamb. To close it off, the orange and chocolate cheesecake the rhubarb creme brûlée were stunning. Staff were super nice and friendly. I’d come back many times if possible, specially around Christmas time.

We had an amazing evening at Reeves! From the moment we walked in until we left, we received excellent service and the food and ambiance were perfect. Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of us. We highly recommend Reeves for a fantastic night out!
Very popular busy venue so need to book. One of the best meals with out a doubt and very friendly hosts. Highly recomend a visit if in the area

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff were attentive and friendly even though they were busy. The food was excellent and reasonably priced for the high quality. There was a good mix of local customers and tourists. I highly recommend this place.

Staff friendly. Lovely atmosphere and good service. Food was good however we had 2 steaks and both were extremely tough and very disappointing. We told the staff but no apology or recompense. Other Food was good
