The prices are decent for Mindo, lots of the restaurants charge alot more because of tourism so it was nice to enjoy a place that locals can too. The vegan burg... read more The prices are decent for Mindo, lots of the restaurants charge alot more because of tourism so it was nice to enjoy a place that locals can too. The vegan burger is made of quinoa and was delicious, make sure to ask for it without cheese.

They have a good selection of... read more This is the first restaurant I visited when I visited mindo last October, I revisited El Sitio yesterday and was not disappointed. They have a good selection of Ecuadorian style dishes which can be made vegan on request and they understand what vegan is so no nasty surprises. The vegan options include ceviche and yuca cake and veg (both delicious). The staff are friendly a speak some English. It has a casual, relaxed atmosphere and both times I visited the service was quick too. A great little addition to the vegan options in Mindo

They have a good selection of Ecuadorian style dishes that can be made vegan on request and they understand what vegan is so no evil surprises. The vegan options include ceviche and yuca cakes and veg (both delicious). Staff are friendly and speak English. It has a casual, relaxed atmosphere and both times I visited the service was also fast. A great little supplement to the vegan options in Mindo
