I chose this place because I love fruity cocktails—fruity in the sense that the real fruit (not fruit syrup complements the alcohol, not overpowers it. I wasn’t disappointed. Recommended: The yuzu whiskey sour was easily the best I’ve had. The matcha martini was smooth and memorable, made with a house-infused green tea gin that added real depth. The chocolate margarita was both unique and well-balanced, and the kumquat G&T stood out as one of the best takes on a gin and tonic I’ve tried. What sets this bar apart is that it’s not mixing fruit purées with alcohol. The owner clearly takes pride in crafting his own fruit-infused spirits, and it shows in the details and depth of every drink. Not recommended: I'm normally an old-fashioned drinker, but one drink I didn't like here was their Caramelized Old Fashioned. Three regular-sized ice cubes were used instead of one big ice. The first few sips were nice but after that, the drink was diluted. Didn't finish it. Vibe: It’s not the kind of bar where you go for small talk or a social buzz. The owner keeps to himself—he’s not chatty, but that’s just his style (or was it just cos I don't speak Japanese? . This is a place for those who enjoy sitting quietly, savoring a well-made cocktail, and appreciating the quality in every sip. If you appreciate creative cocktails done with real care, this place is worth a visit. Price per person: ¥8,000–9,000 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
