jg tokyo was wonderful and definitiw the experience worth. it was great that the chef was able to accommodate all food allergies that were a plus most of the high-end restaurants not able to. the food and the weeping were five stars. the staff was also very friendly and committed. It is such an disappointment after visiting many jg around the world, especially the food. The taste is not smooth and the beef is incredible hard to chew and swallow. The kind of creative cuisin is no longer anymore new to people. If the chief can't even offer a piece of eatable meat, the restaurant should consider to reinvent itself. Have often gone past jg and from outside, thought it was just a weeping. but it is actually a wonderful French restaurant, and a great place to go when they are looking for a creative and delicious meal. at the top end it has a very high feeling, and certainly the quality of the meal and service deserves the price tag. do not eat for every day, but certainly worth it for a special occasion. Enjoy the menu jean george and my date took the accompanying weinflug, which they enjoyed very (I do not drink) the whole food was very tasty, and the service and the explanations of eating made for a great evening. I would spend the egg caviar as one of the unique dishes I had and very tasty. definitiw recommended!
Excellent quality, creativity. combination of French technology with Japanese ingredients. great. I love the ambiente.
It was good overall. eating was great, especially the seafood except the main. we ordered lamb and bark. lamb was very nice, but the Miyazaki cow felt too hard and chewing, even it was rarely cooked. I also wonder if it is usual not to ask the did (not really important that we enjoyed medium rare meats.)
