What User doesn't like about Hostal Atalaya:
We were passing through and the experience was bad, the bread on the menu was super dry, as was one of the waitresses, somewhat stressed and with little patience when it came to repeating the menu, the worst thing was finding a piece of plastic on my plate, not the slightest attempt to correct that mistake, not an apology, just offering a new dish, how I want to continue eating that dish even if you change it? It's cheap at the cost of a very bad service and bass food. Better stay away from here, there's other better options than this.
Not much competition in this town so it is not really very welcoming. The bar/restaurant is basic and hotel service is poor.
Whoever operates this place is 5 star at marketing. Before our ride on the mining railway a young lady thrust into our hands a leaflet extolling the virtues of this restaurant for lunch afterwards. I just wish their food was 5 star as well! They do a menu del dia which was pretty dreadful. The lentil stew was hot on top, but cold on the inside. The main course was a fish and seafood dish with chips, neither particularly fresh. Pudding custard out of a packet. At the end, I said to my wife I wish I hadn 't eaten that lot . At least I wasn 't ill afterwards. One must be grateful for small mercies!
Gran hotel, habitación amplia con nevera, limpieza todos los días. Bien. ¡Qué pena que ya no puedas desayunar allí! Tienen una bonita terraza donde solía venir la gente del pueblo a tomar algo.
Un hostal muy bien cuidado las habitaciones bastante nuevas, y las personas que lo atienden súper amables y siempre pendientes de lo que necesitas y de informarte de todo lo que necesitas. Muchas gracias.
