We visited Lopez city as we were looking for an alternative restaurant, with its funky styling and Latin American menu (and the fact that it always has a massive queue out the front) we gave it a try. I had the langoustines and my Father and Sister had the Argentinian Steak. both were FANTASTIC and reasonably priced for a tourist trap (under €18 ea) the portions were a good size and the food tasted fresh. My wife's d... View all feedback.
What Matthieu Da Silva doesn't like about Lopez City:
We went on a busy evening, plenty of tables full and a queue previously that evening made us keen. The atmosphere was good, friendly staff who were clearly busy, waited the tables. Unfortunately the food lacked flavour. We had Moules and Paella, both lacked seasoning and were over cooked. They were hearty meals and perhaps on a quieter service we would get what we were looking for but I would not recommend here. That... View all feedback.
Friendly service, good food. The "pan dishes" are better and more generous. But the chili was aldo very good.

This is the First Time i have ever Witten a review of a restaurant, but our experience at López City was One of the worst ones we ever had whilst travelling france.First of all, the Food presented right in Front of the place (paella, mussels) looks fine, but only at First glance. Trust me: just Take 2 Minutes to Look at how the meals are beeing prepared and you will Loose your appetite. Pouring a pint of Oil over the already cold Paella seems to be the Chef's personal specialty. Salad is Unlovingly Pressed onto the plates, tomatoes thrown on afterwards. I got my paella and my friend had a plate of noodels, which where overcooked and plain tasteless. Nobody Seemed to care asking for if we wanted additional softdrinks, when we finished our glasses. Nobody asked if the Food was of taste. The only Thing wie were given quickly was the Bill when wie asked for it. The Most infuriating point is that they dare to charge on of the highest prices around mimizan for their poor quality foods. There were so many terrible things, i could additionally mention, the reason i do not is because writing Big texts on an ipad is not my thing. As you see, it is that Important for me to warn you guys of this Tourist trap! Do Not eat there!
A clue should have been that we had to ask for someone to take our order. We waited patiently for our paella...for an hour!!! Having asked twice regarding the delay no information or apology was forthcoming and no food. It was embarrassing watching the assumed Manager shouting loudly at his waitress. We had a jug of sangria and decided enough was enough. I went to the counter to pay and explain we were leaving.. he simply said "ok thank you goodbye"
Best Paella we have ever had ! Excellent ! Very friendly and helpful staff. We sat upstairs on the balcony and had an excellent view.
