The... read more We visited this restaurant for lunch on the Saturday before Easter, and it was quite empty due to the lovely weather, so we didn't have to wait for a table. The place has a retro atmosphere, featuring a counter with stools as well as cozy booths. The food was typical diner fare, with a nice variety to choose from. The service was excellent. Can't help but love downtown Milwaukie!

I felt sympathy for her a... read more It was a very busy Saturday during the holiday season, and there was only one overwhelmed waitress attending to the entire restaurant. I felt sympathy for her as she tried to handle everything. However, I noticed that she frequently checked on the table next to us, asking if they needed anything like coffee or iced tea, while she completely ignored my partner and me after serving us one cup of coffee, our food, and the check. She never came back to see if we wanted a refill, even though she was standing right next to us with the coffee pot in hand. I paid $5.00 for two cups of coffee (along with other breakfast items), but we were never offered a refill. While I understand it was a hectic day and she was understandably frazzled, the unequal treatment of customers left a sour impression on our experience.

They offer an extensive selection of vegetarian pasta dishes, with the option to make them vegan upon request. The staff strictly adheres to all COVID safety protocols and were welcoming and delighted to have us as guests.

I really enjoy breakfast for dinner, and he... read more Our friends brought us here for dinner a few weeks ago, and it was fantastic! Our waitress, Molly, was even better!! I really enjoy breakfast for dinner, and here, at Libbie's, you can get breakfast all day if you want!! I had a chili omelette which was the best, and my hubby had the Combo Plate which tasted fresh and plentiful. Their clam chowder tastes like I made it at home, very tasty, fresh and chunky. We had the opportunity to go again last night and we were very HAPPY once again!! I cannot believe this place isn't packed!! Thank you for home cooking with a smile!!!
