What User doesn't like about Tupelo Honey Milwaukee:
Food came quickly which made the overall experience feel rushed. We started with biscuits that were delicious and very large! My husband had shrimp and grits that he raved about. I had white meat fried chicken and fries. The chicken was dry but the fries were excellent. So basically a mixed review. View all feedback.
The chicken and gravy were really tasty, but the mac and cheese along with the green beans were disappointing—I couldn't even finish them. To top it off, they completely forgot my Blueberry-Lavender Agua Fresca and just handed me a straw. I likely won’t be ordering from here again.
The fried tomatoes were incredible! I appreciated that the salad was served separately, and the meatloaf patty melt was a delightful surprise!
The grits in the 'Old Skool ' Breakfast Bowl were amazing, the For the For the Love of Cobb (GF) Cobb salad was pretty tasty but a bit expensive considering there was no meat, but eggs are $5 a piece now so I really can 't complain. The Extra Crispy French Fries* were just ok and the serving was tiny. I 'd 100% order anything with the grits in it again.
The farm-fresh veggie plate was quite tasty, though the collard greens were just average. The banana pudding was delicious, but the price for the portion size felt excessive.
Have ordered for take out several times and dined outside once. The food has been consistently good and quality. The Sriracha chicken and waffles is delicious, my favorite so far. Service was excellent and fast while dining during weekday lunch.
