The homemade sea... read more I went for the fish fry last night and was not disappointed. The fresh fish was lightly battered and fried to perfection, served hot and fresh. The homemade seafood chowder was delicious, and the fresh rolls to start were a nice touch. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. They also have a happy hour and a full bar. Adding dessert for only $0.99 during dinner is a great deal as well. Highly recommend this restaurant!

It... read more First off olives rancid in drink! Took ten minutes to replace drink. Chicken dumpling soup tasted like water. Low cal plate with the steak, was ordered rare. It was cooked well done and shoe letter taste better. They said they would take it off the bill and substituted a fruit plate.

Waited for 30-35 minutes on food that should have not taken more than 10. The restaurant was empty and our waitress who I believe was also the manager/shift leader came with no explanation of why it took so long. A friend and I both got sides of fruit that came in different sizes, has to ask for refills on water. The food was okay but the service was awful.

I... read more This use to be one of my favorite restaurants. The lady did not know my name,but she always addressed me and my family. The food was good n service was great. Its obvious that this Layton location has new management, service has really declined, the food isn't as good and there was like a dirty fog lingering around. I order my food n even though they did not have the complete meal, i was offered no substitution. She just stood there looking at me. I took a friend there n was embarrassed to have recommend this place. So after bout 15years i have no plans on returning. One star as i hate what this restaurant has become.

I don 't know if they changed ownership or what because the sign reads Welcome To The New Spring Gardens Restaurant . We use to go to Spring Gardens Restaurant all the Time. We stopped in there Today. Their Meatloaf recipe tastes different then it use to. It is not as good. When we arrived there, there was only 3 customers there. There was just two of us there. It still took the Waitress almost 30 Minutes to come take our order. Then it took almost 1 Hour for our order to come. This was while the restaurant was empty except for the two of us. Then we had to wait wait for the Waitress to come back. The Waitress over charged us on the bill. Prior to her taking our order, we overheard another customer talking to the Waitress about her overcharging him on his bill. I hope that the service gets better because we really liked going to Spring Gardens Restaurant
