For dessert, I tried the tiramisu, and it was terrible. A note to the chef: there's no need to alter the original recipe—it’s perfect as it is. What I received was more like a soupy custard with dried fruits, reminiscent of Christmas fruitcake. I don’t mean to come off as pretentious or snobbish; some of the best meals I've had while traveling were from street vendors or small family-run places tucked away in alleyways. Unfortunately, this evening was a huge disappointment—especially if you’re in the mood for authentic Italian food, because this isn’t it!
