Milwaukee Sail Loft

I experienced food poisoning here, and three out of the five people in my group (myself included) did as well. The service was decent, but it took a long time to receive the bill. The atmosphere was average, though I wasn't too keen on having sweaty joggers pass by me while I was trying to enjoy my meal. Food rating: 1/5.

This is a lovely spot to relax by the river with a drink and some appetizers. However, the other food was just mediocre, and the service was a bit slow. Because of this, I don’t think I would return for a full meal. But I did enjoy the bar and patio atmosphere. Food: 3/5

We were really disappointed after booking through OpenTable, which is linked to the restaurant's website. I received a confirmation for our reservation, but thankfully I called the day before to double-check. They informed me that they don't take reservations during the summer and were unsure why OpenTable had them listed that way. With a group of six, we were looking forward to a nice waterfront dinner, but we didn't want to wait over an hour, so we decided not to go. I wish OpenTable was aware of this policy, and the restaurant should clearly post this information. I'm glad we didn't arrive with our confirmations in hand.

We visited Milwaukee Sail Loft while visiting for a conference. The weather was perfect for this place! Our server was wonderful and attentive. Our food was delicious and cooked the way we wanted. There were many options, depending on your dietary needs. The atmosphere was too perfect. I had the blackened mahi mahi with roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts. I also had a spicy **** Mary, which was delicious!Dietary restrictions: Several in our group had dietary restrictions. They were all accommodated.

Food nothing special. Both my wife and I didn’t feel great after. Both had stomach aches. Tuna tower was quite skimpy. Daughter had Caesar salad and wasn’t crazy about it. Mahi tacos were blah. Won’t be going back.
