Mi Casa Su Cafe - Milwaukee

I want to thank you for hosting my family and me during the Annual Bronzeville Week Art Show. I had a wonderful time, met some incredible people, and my work really suited the atmosphere. I am excited for many more visits in the future. And I must say, the wine slushy is absolutely fantastic... but be careful, it's quite potent!

While in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I triedMi Casa Su Cafe. This place reminds me of when my grandmother would cook on Saturday mornings with jazz in the background. Today, I tried salmon patties, yellow rice, and biscuits with old-fashioned pound cake. ALL of it was delightful. The patties were seasoned to perfection and the pound cake simply delicious?

My visit had its ups and downs, but the food and service at this restaurant definitely deserve five stars. Unfortunately, I had to wait an hour for my food after ordering, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, it was surprising that they didn't have coffee available, especially since they serve breakfast. However, the staff were all friendly and appeared to be working hard. When the food finally arrived, it was delicious, hot, and the portion sizes were generous. I ordered pancakes, scrambled eggs, beef sausage, and potatoes and was pleased with the quality. Overall, I felt like I got good value for my money and would be happy to return.

I am here as we speak. I figured it probably wouldn't be quite as busy on a Monday morning. This food is what dreams are made of. I am having Catfish and grits. The sauce is perfectly seasoned with a bit of spice. The grits have a great texture and the catfish is excellent. The orange juice and caramella coffee accompany the dish perfectly. I will be back to try other amazing looking things on the menu. All I have left to say is get your azz down here!!! What are you waiting for?!?!?
