Vegan green roasted tomato! Actually, I have to say more? ok, I. we had a great server that spoke with the kitchen for us to make sure we ordered vegan. we had the appetizer of fried green tomaten delicious. I can't remember the last time I had some! for the entrees my partner ordered the Tofu-Bbq sandwich, but unfortunately they were from vegan brot on this day. Instead he got bbq tofu with green beans, and tears and beans. the Bbq sauce was delish and I ate most of its tofu. ups! for my entree I ordered the veg jambalaya vegan as it is. that was really delicious and a huge portion. we took a lot of it home. the tofu in this court was perfectly spiced. the drinks here are also bombed. we're coming back!

Only 3 dinge vegetarian can order them: bbq 'wings', bbq sandwich w/fries, or bbq 'ribs' w/mashed kartoffels and vegetables. also had reservations and had to wait when I arrived.

I really enjoy this restaurant. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian options, and I absolutely love the tofu wings!

Great cajun food: several excellent dishes, many good dishes; there are sufficient vegetarian options to satisy my vegetarian friend (who actually requests to go there! ; dinner portions are very generous (be prepared for leftovers! , and some of the appetizers or side orders are big enough and/or good enough to be main dishes. menu available at [hidden link] (We have not explored the vegan friendliness . Two floors of dining, well stocked bars, nice selection of beers and wines, Happy Hour 4 6, delicious desserts (that are NOT veg friendly however . Background music is skewed to New Orleans, and the place can be noisy when busy; nice decor. I 've ordered to go from Maxie 's several times, no problem; they have friendly and helpful wait staff. It 's a first come first served restaurant; they do not accept reservations (except possibly for large groups , and there can be waits at the door, so go early or go late; and sometimes phonecalls get shuffled to voicemail but hey, it 's a busy and popular place!! Great for pre show meals or after show dining/drinks.
