My granddaughter and I went here on the recommendation of my brother! It had been at least 20 years since my last visit! We had the crab ragoon, spring rolls, orange chicken and shrimp fried rice! do not come back. the waitress was only fast to me when she wanted to be paid. I was not charged back then. my eating was pretty bad. the egg-dripping soup was good, but my sweet and acidic combination eating has rough and pork. it was; don't even taste or look like what. very disappointed. Best Chineese food around. Big portions, great flavor. We live 40 minutes away and make the drive.
The “Emperor of China” has always been one thing...The best Chinese Restaurant in Milwaukee! The food is unbelievably good.
I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. And in all of those many years, never once has the food ever disappointed me. I used to live just around the corner. Now I live 30 miles away, and can't make it here nearly as often as I would like. And every single time, it's still the same old great food, very prompt service and very reasonable prices. They make both the typical Americanized, and genuine traditional Chinese food. There is none better.
Whenever I am in Milwaukee, I make it a point to stop on Brady Street and eat at the Emperor of China. Excellent place.
