Colectivo Coffee Bay View - Milwaukee

I absolutely love this Bay View location and their two-level shop! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the coffee is always spot on! I enjoyed my first Peppermint Latte of the season—delicious! I also shared a chicken melt sandwich with my daughter, and it was absolutely scrumptious! During warmer weather, there’s some outdoor seating available, making it a charming place overall!

I recently returned after previously having a less-than-great experience, and I was pleasantly surprised! The service was incredibly kind and quick. The pumpkin spice latte was fantastic, and the coffee flavor has improved significantly! I'm also happy to support a union!

This cafe used to be fantastic, particularly due to its great location, but I believe it has declined in recent months. It appears that the place hasn't been cleaned in weeks or even months, with crumbs and debris scattered around and under the tables. It's evident that the staff, and likely management, don't take pride in their work. Many of the girls behind the counter spend their time scrolling through their phones, even while taking orders. As a result, they frequently miss essential details, such as milk substitutions. The bagels are often served burnt, and the breakfast burritos come out cold. It's truly disappointing. When I compare this experience to other nearby Milwaukee chains, there’s really no comparison—the staff clearly lacks enthusiasm for their jobs.

I love cold brew. This 'glitzy ' cold brew for pride tastes like drinking lemon seltzer through a used coffee filter.. I ordered it before I saw it had lemonade in it. I thought maybe Colectivo knows what they 're doing. In this case they do not. This drinkis horrifying. If I hadn 't gotten it to go and for charity I would have taken it back

I absolutely adore this coffee shop! A friend of mine used to work here before the rebranding, and I can't get enough of it! I try to visit Milwaukee as often as possible just to stock up on their coffee. While I know you can order online and have it shipped, there's something special about experiencing the location in person and soaking in the atmosphere. Now that they have locations in Chicago, I’m excited to check out those that are closer to me. A little road trip for some fantastic coffee and an amazing vibe is totally worth it to me. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
