Some found the food over-salted and underwhelming, while others praised the fresh, locally sourced ingredients and unique dishes like the Fish Fry plate. The service was a highlight for many, with repeat visits due to attentive servers. Diners appreciated the variety on the menu, from brunch to three-course specials. Ambiance and pricing were noted as areas for improvement, overshadowed by the food quality and service. Overall, Locavore appears to cater to a range of tastes, with potential for a more consistent dining experience.
Terrible food!!! Breading on the chicken and fish was so greasy and thick you couldn't even eat it. Pass on this place
Excellent all around. Sorry to hear they are closing
The food was absolutely fantastic! Gourmet dishes freshly cooked and served by the helpful, attentive wait staff. I enjoyed the trout with black olive puree and baked radishes. My wife had the pork dish that had a baked and stuffed pastry. The meat was tender and flavorful. The dessert menu was brief, but had delicious offerings. I hear that Locavore will cease operation after the of July weekend, and the theme will be changed to a more homey style of food. What a shame. The restaurant reminded me a lot of Artist's Pointe in Disney World. I would dine there again without hesitation. Sorry to see it go
We once again had brunch here, because it's so darn good! I had my Farmer's Breakfast eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes, and the husband had Biscuits Gravy with two eggs and bacon. The food, the service, and the Irish coffee were all delicious
Quiet setting simple ambience food has a gourmet flair but prices are quite reasonable friendly feel
