Some enjoyed the polite servers and delicious food, while others found the food to be below average and the service lacking. The atmosphere was praised for being calm yet lively, with great food and drink options. Despite some hiccups with service, most customers seemed willing to give the restaurant another try based on their overall experience.
Ale Asylum is a great place to stop for a bite on the way to an event at the Bradley Center My friend suggested we hit it up and I was in.
Shame on me for not doing more research, but I walked into Ale Asylum thinking that it may be slightly reminiscent of Three Floyds BreweryI mean, nothing
Perfect for a casual meal along the river, a lively environment to watch a game, or a drink and small plates before a show at the Pabst or Riverside
This is my favorite bar in Milwaukee! The beer is brewed in Madison and is fantastic! They are always adding new beers. The food is excellent too. It has a nice bar feel but with food that is made for a fancier restaurant (get the 15 hour pulled pork nachos or tiramisu). Also, they have a really nice patio that overlooks the river. Great for watching sport games or an afternoon just hanging out enjoying the weather.
Food was spectacular. I had not had a couscous as good as that in over 20 years. We tried chicken, merguez, lamb and rabbit...all fantastic. And so we're the cumin chickpeas and desserts. Thank you.
